1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

SOTE is Amouage Gold for Men. It set me to wondering if Mugler will ever release a Pure Civet flanker of which would basically kick ass (buns).

Found the sample by accident, so that's what I'm wearing today.

Do you get any soap with this citrus? How long does it last?

I got some extremes going on today - first, I sprayed Chanel No 18 on my left wrist. What a bright, lovely scent and very reminiscent of Jour d'Hermes but more rounded in the dry-down. After this disappears, I have a tester of ELdO Rien to put on.

Just read a little bit about this one. Did you get a sample from Luckyscent?

Oh, they must have reformulated it. :hide:

    Pre-shower: 100% Love
SOTD: Baie de Genievre. I feel like I've said this many times on Basenotes, but this, along with Acier Aluminium, is one of the most underappreciated scents in the Creed lineup.

MDCI Invasion Barbare today. I got some decants of this a while ago at a great price; I need to start using them.

No, I got samples from Min New York. Their samples tend to be larger & they come in atomizers. Often, there's a 20% off coupon floating around. LUXISMIN worked recently. It may still.

I was in the middle of placing an order with them a couple of days ago, but then I saw that their shipping rates were absolutely crazy. Did you pay a reasonable price for shipping?

I ordered 11 samples. Shipping was something like $7.50 for Priority Mail, which I suppose is a bit high. The coupon gave me an $11.00 discount, though. Luckyscent has free shipping after $75. This was free shipping + a few bucks on $55.
