Admittedly, I'm not exactly sure this is how I want everyone else to remember me.
Day: YSL - M7. Interesting and decent longevity but poor projection.
Night: Annick Goutal - Ambre Fetiche. Not my favorite amber, but its unique (to me, at least).
Which version of M7? New or Old. Old never had a projection problem on me.
I guess the new, else STC would've specified it.
Sunday, Mitsouko edp
Yesterday and Today, ADP colonia assoluta
Lalique - Nilang. No fan. I'm not sure what it reminds me of, probaly TF - Black Orchid because I get some sort of similar melon note -- but melon isn't listed in the notes of Nilang so maybe I'm just confused.
Today: vintage Van Cleef and Arpels Pour Homme
Pre-shower: Amouage Gold Man. With the Lord as my witness, I declare that I like this one better than the feminine. My favorite Amouage of the ones I've tried.
SOTD: Keiko Mecheri Canyon Dreams
Longevity is much better, too, right?
Edit: Didn't see the pre-shower part.
This evening: Arquiste Aleksandr - a leather offset by a pleasant green violet leaf scent. I like my leathers to be dirtier or they cross over into the "gourmand" realm in my mind.
Some interesting SOTDs, fellas. Keep up the good work.
Finished up a 30ml of Ungaro II today. Was a little too hot/dry for it to work (the citrus burned off and left the civety/creamy vibe, which didn't work at this temperature).
Will switch to something lighter for an evening out tonight. Haven't decided yet, but probably Cristalle EdT (Chanel)
Yeah, I didn't get a chance to test its longevity. But it was still going strong when I went into the shower, which is a good sign.
Pre-shower: Le Labo Neroli 36. I don't usually like neroli, but in this one mandarin orange and aldehydes give it some much-needed lift. There's a strong laundry musk note that I like as well.
SOTD: ELDO Tilda Swinton. This may actually be a top five fragrance for me, or at least top ten. I love this stuff.
@rach: The top of Canyon Dreams is somewhat Jicky-esque, minus the baby poo.
Today: Histoiries de Parfums 1826.
Thoughts on Clive Christian 'C' Men's Perfume?
I like it a lot. It smells very expensive, and alas, it is very expensive! There are a thousand things going on in this one, and the journey from the top through the base is compelling at every stage. Longevity is extremely good. My main worry for you is that it's quite heavy; there's a good chance it would be pretty oppressive in the heat and humidity down there.
