There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Today is L'Instant de Guerlain Homme.

Something's brought me out in a rash again. Since I wore TV and Tuscan Leather on the weekend, and had a reaction to Italian Cypress, I'm starting to think there's something in the Tom Ford range that doesn't like me. Bummer.

Interested in your input. The Melbourne BN crowd has a challenge at each meeting, and the last one was to try to identify a range of female classics from unlabelled decants. To be fair, the are going to do 10 male classics next time. The idea is mostly niche, but the odd mass-market classic.

Members contribute samples, and I have a few I could lend to them: Armani Code, Guerlain Vetiver, Chanel Pour Monsiuer, Caron Pour Homme and Creed MI, amongst a few others. (I'm thinking GIT or Aventus would be better than MI, but I don't have them). Any suggestions for "classics" that people ought to be able to identify? I can see if other guys have them.

Dior Jules sample!? Well, he definitely owes you one!

My suggestions for classics: Eau Sauvage, Brut, Old Spice, Drakkar Noir, Acqua Di Gio, Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey, Fahrenheit, Aramis Tuscany. A frag enthusiast should be able to nail all of these down pat.

This evening: Heeley Cuir Pleine Fleur - if you like leather, this is a masterpiece with leather that has this remarkable green violet leaf presence. I need a bottle of this.

Like that list, but it might lean towards the mass-market a bit for the BN crowd. Maybe Acqua di Parma needs to be on there somewhere, and Terre d'Hermes.

IMO, Terre d'Hermès is very "mass market", much more than say Eau Sauvage nowadays.

This is fairly strong stuff—I have to remember to not spray too much on. I think I put on about 3-4 sprays (not sure, because I tried to do the half-spray thing but it didn't really work...) Of course, close-quarter meetings with editors & authors first thing in the morning don't really help either....:uhoh:

^^ I like that a lot, but it's been a while since I've worn it.

Angelique sous la Pluie for me today.
