Out of curiosity, how did you hear of Kerosene's scents? I have a decant of his Copper Skies and it's good thus far but I'll know more once the cold weather comes.

Today, Hermes Eau des Merveilles. Like this better than TdH, actually.

Incidentally, does anyone know about an older Brooks Brothers scent: apparently they did a sandalwood cologne back in the 90's. I have found nothing about it on line, but am about to pull the trigger on a secondhand bottle.

I thought you had joined the no-purchase club?

Never heard of a sandalwood BB scent. 1788(?) was always popular with the wet shavers. Maybe they might know more.

The Prada exclusive No. "I don't know". I think it's the scent called "opoponax".

Probably going to use some Creed Millesime Imperial today.

Can't wait for my Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille to come in the mail tomorrow

TF TV is intense. Be gentle with the application. ;)

So much vanilla in that beast. Smells great, but yes - apply carefully.

    TFGV today.

Went to Hermes this weekend and sniffed the Hermescence collection and must say that I wasn't too impressed. They gave me a sample of each to try, though. You guys were talking about the Vetiver Tonka but I like, so far, the Poivre Samarcande.

For those floral lovers out there, have you guys tried Elie Saab Perfume? That's got to be one of the prettiest jasmine/white florals out there.

Give Rose Ikebana a full wear.
IIRC, I liked Poivre Samarcande, too. What's your opinion on Santal Massoia?

Don't quite know yet. I'm going to do a multi-quadrant application tonight and see.

Yes, I have, but I've also sold off a few and have excess funds in the paypal account. In fact, even with this bottle I'll have sold off more than I've acquired.

I like the Poivre Samarcande and have a decant, but I don't ever wear it. It doesn't even whisper "Wear me" Too light and sheer.

One of the guys on BN had posted it as his SOTD. I was really intrigued by the bottle, which is really nicely done. (Anything in pink will always catch my eye.) And of course it had "roses" in the name, so I had to try it. I haven't tried any other scents from the line.

I'm wearing Attar de Roses by Keiko Mecheri today. I like the scents from her regular line better than the ones from the Bespoke line, which are super expensive.
