I just bought online a vintage bottle of Chanel Cuir de Russie eau de cologne. I didn't like this in the past but believe that I have "seen the light" through Bois des Iles.

Does anyone know the years that the eau de cologne was produced?

Great, thanks homie. I forgot about the Chanel website after going there a year or two ago.

I haven't gotten the bottle yet but just paid the money for it - however I was too excited to not share.:embar:

Ambre Mirabilis by Keiko Mecheri today. Very dry, sharp, and bitter with a spicy sweet drydown.

Also, just got my sample of Lyric Man today. I just dabbed a little on, so I don't have a thorough impression yet. The lime note at the top is wonderful, though.

Amouage - Reflection Man today. Nice.
For the evening, I'll apply some Jubilation XXV.

I found this a year ago and like it. Anyone else tried it?

L'Artisan Al Oudh. I'll do everyone a favor and change into something else before I go to the opera tonight!

I really dig Jubilation XXV. Didn't wear it in weeks, it's so good -- and unique.

Patou Eau de Joy today (pre P&G)

This one is a civet-laden, wet bulgarian rose with an almost-rotten jasmine added. Absolute stinkfest. As such, I love it.

It's not particularly complicated (Joy never was; Roudnitska didn't like it for this), but it's of such quality in the simplicity of notes that it's nice to wear on a humid day. If you want to know what expensive rose absolu smells like, wear (vintage) Joy or EdJ.

Looking over this week's additions, I'm realizing how out of the parfum game I am these days. I haven't tried most of the ones on this entire page. :(

Today, Sean John Unforgivable Multi-Platinum. It's got this melon / disco-ball accord going. I feel so bling.
