There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I almost wore Black today as well. I had an important meeting today, so I figured I'd play it a little safer with Sycomore...

SOTD: 99 Regent St, by Hugh Parsons. This one is very light, inoffensive, but is not holding up too well. Only mid-day and I can barely smell it.

What is the best place to buy samples and also buy bottles of CdG?

I've been hunting out samples lately. I've found CdG at Surrender to Chance and at Lucky Scent, for $3/ml. Can't say how long either of these guys take to deliver, however.

Thank you. Ugh all so expensive, just cuts into my purchasing of an actual sized bottle.

For one no, but multiple samples plus shipping it can add up. Factor in the cost of a bottle is around 100.

    $3 for .7ml, right?

I like many of Amouage's scents but that doesn't mean I'll like every new release. It's too in-your-face for my taste. Drydown doesn't appeal to me either. Partially reminds me of Memoir Man which I'm not fond of either. That is not to say they are bad per se, they're just not my style.

I wore Rose Barbare yesterday. Solid, but not very complex (at first wear at least).

Jubilation XXV today. This, I like.

Stopped by the Hermès boutique yesterday and snatched two samples of the new Jour d'Hermès. I've just smelled it sprayed on a band so far. Citrus, prominent pamplemouse and generally spring/summer-y, tad on the feminine side. Anyway, seems to be the only place where you can get samples nowadays.

I tried sample ordering a while back, and then finally gave up on that. Started buying blind, requesting samples from the interwebz, and buying secondhand - some sellers will lump in samples they no longer want.

    Oh, today: Goutal Ambre Fetiche

I would love to, however, I do not have very much to contribute. I also did not realize it was still going.
