You perfumistas are the worst enablers in the word.

Today Voyage d'Hermes. I swear, this stuff is composed to replicate an olfactory trip around the world between the two tropics. First, you get lime and gin. Then you get tropical white flowers. Then you get Ellena's signature green mango. Then you get incense that is like Timbuktu's drydown. And like I said before it all transitions very suddenly.

I don't have much of a sense of accountability either!

SL - Arabie. Liked it better than last time, I became more acustomed to the notes.

L'Inc, you remind me that I actually sampled that one (Creed's Fleur de Bulgarie ), but I didn't see it in the last few days. I'll search it and wear it tomorrow, I just hope the rose isn't too forward even if the name suggests so. By the way, don't you think Ambre Sultan is too sweet?

Ambre Sultan certainly is sweet. I don't find it too sweet, but I can see how someone else might.
Fleurs de Bulgarie is a soapy rose. The soapiness comes from ambergris, which is even more prominent in this than it is in other Creeds. The rose is quite prominent. (For me, a rose note can never be too far forward! That's why I love Fleur de The Rose Bulgare so much.)

been about 2 hours, I really like the sweet woodiness of it, almost a bit too sweet. The dryness works really well but I don't think the scent has evolved, it just continues to smell woody and sweet, very masculine.

Alexander McQueen Kingdom. Whenever I start to feel cynical about the world, I can always remind myself that, for a brief moment at least, a fragrance like Kingdom was marketed and sold in it. A world with Kingdom in it can't be that bad. :)
