It was nice in a sort of pleasant way but I just wasn't drawn to it by any stretch. Of course, as I was discussing with someone else on here, I'm sadly just not really drawn to anything these days. They're all starting to run together into "nice" territory. That, or unwashed cunt.

First, I got ready to run and checked the weather on my phone: 52 degrees. Got outside - BRRR chilly willy. Pulled on a second t-shirt and went at it. Turned out it was 40 when I set out - I'd checked Houston, and not the suburb where we live, 10 minutes from Houston. HURRR DURRR.

Post-run, I wanted something warm, rich, and boozy (but Harvey is in PA so that's out of the question) so I went with MPG Santal Noble.

Incidentally - I'm mildly horrified to note that I have 17.7% of the posts in this thread. That would indicate that 1) I've probably repeated myself at least a few times, and b) time to find something else to bang on about.

    Midnight in Paris edp.

My pre-shower scent was Jasmin et Cigarette. I've never liked that one a whole lot, but for some reason I enjoyed it quite a bit this morning.

SL - Chergui. I think I like this the best out of Arabie and Ambre Sultan. I really liked it today.

I found that Chergui grew on me after a few wearings. I wasn't enthusiastic at first. I still prefer both Ambre Sultan and Arabie, though. I can't remember, did you try Muscs Koublai Khan?

No, I didn't. But I will when I get the chance to.
I remember Ambre Sultan being very (a little too) sweet. Arabie was strange to me because of the unusual compositon (dates and so on) but I wore it just once so far so the impression might evolve.

Pre-shower scent: Prelude to Love--by Kilian
    SOTD: MPG George Sand

EDIT: Looks like Lavender Palm has finally been released nationwide. (They're all in the brown bottles now and priced the same as the other Private Blends.) I'm going to try to get to Saks this weekend to check it out.

All this talk about Lavender Palm, kinda making me curious. Anybody doing a split?

I do love living in St. Louis, but it can be frustrating. We have a Neiman and a Saks, so I thought I'd have a good chance at trying Lavender Palm. Nope. They don't have it and don't plan on getting it.
