Has anyone tried Juun J. or Damir Doma's Six Scent series offerings? If so, how are they?

The Damir Doma scent is excellent. Essentially a green-incense, but very natural smelling. I will say it's rather subtle and longevity isn't spectacular, but regardless, it's really very nice.

"Split Up" or "Spit Up"? (Now for men, "Baby Split Up", the new fragrance from King Solomon...)

Creed Original Santal - still like it enough to buy it.

Don't get the Joop comparison. Not nearly offensive enough.

But at the same time, I've already stated that Cool Water and GIT smell exactly the same to me.

    ^ lol, thanks :)

today, Malle Bigarade Concentree. It's ok, but I wouldn't pay that price for it. Declaration is better and cheaper.

I don't think the two smell similar. It's just that both share the property of being sickly sweet. Original Santal doesn't start out that way, but in the drydown it becomes unbearably sweet to me. (I know that not everyone perceives it as being that sweet.) When I make the comparison between the two, that's all I mean. They're not similar in the way that GIT and Cool Water are.

Rochas Femme (vintage formulation) for me today.

I wasn't referring to you specifically - just basenotes groupthink.

Yeah, I knew you didn't mean that. I just thought I'd try to provide a plausible explanation for why the two fragrances always get compared to each other.

This fragrance seemed pretty good when I first got it, but over time, I've come not to like it that much. I don't think I'll get another bottle when it runs out.

I missed that intriguing comment. I find GIT OK, but Cool Water leaves me, uh, cold. I'll have give these the two wrist test.

Aventus from a dept store counter bottle. I like the scent - very simple, quite well suited for 85 degree LA weather. Overpriced, but is there any Creed that isn't?
