Are we talking about the women's LL or the men's?

Either way, I quite like both.

I'm talking about the feminine. It's certainly not the most sophisticated scent on the market, but it's a very pleasant anise/licorice fragrance with a sweet vanilla base. If French whores smell like this, then good for French johns.

LL and Angel are probably my two favorite scents on women/French whores (or whores of any nationality, for that matter). Drives me absolutely crazy.

    Dior Homme today.

Eau Noire for me today. Sometimes it's just...too...much...

Etro Patchouli today. A little on the smokier side. Not bad but not great. I still think L'Artisan's Patchouli Patch is the best of the bunch but I haven't tried that many yet.

I like PP, as well. BUT, definitely try Montale Patchouli Leaves. And also the SMN Patchouli. Ungaro II for me today. If you like Jicky, you'll like this one, though the Jicky is far and away a more balanced and masterful scent. This one is lighter, with more citrus, but plenty of that "dirty baby diapers" lavender/civet.

I agree re: PP. I always "liked" it, until I noticed the interesting, peachy, osmanthus note. Good stuff. ELDO's Nombril Immense is another good patchouli if you're looking for simplicity.

Not wearing anything today...hung over. [IMG]

That's sort of why I liked it. It wasn't trying to be just a fragrance version of patchouli oil. I'll have to add NI to Rach's rec's.

Jasmin et Cigarette. I've never been a big fan of this one, but for some reason I'm liking it quite a bit today.

Got a few new bottles in a swap today...wearing CDG2, Chanel No. 22, and Givenchy Vetyver.

...yes, all of them...I got a little excited.

    Bleecker Street today.

I got a chance to sniff Michael for Men yesterday, and I was absolutely wowed by it. I just wish I had discovered it earlier in the winter because I'm betting it's going to be a bit much when things warm up.
