Quick question...does frangrancenet.com and scentiments.com sell authentic cologne and perfume or should I stay away from that place. Anyone have any dealings with either websites. Thx
Scentiments is local here. I've been to their actual store and they're very helpful. Some of the higher end things may be grey market but you can't beat the prices. Sadly, because they're local, I get dinged with taxes when I order online so I often end up going elsewhere. My box of Mr. Blass arrived today. Looks like I know what I'm wearing tomorrow. Wore Ormonde Jayne Zizan today. I have no idea what the hell it smelled like but I remember it wasn't half bad.

Well I tried out the new Mr. Blass today. Not bad. I can't really make out any of the notes at this point but its got a generally "manish" smell to it.

Navegar by L'Artisan Parfumeur - nice for cold and bleak autumn weather.

I took a little break from any scents for a few days since my whole breathing system went wonky after a whole day of smelling stuff on Sat but now i iz back and I haz the smell.

Today - Concentree D'Orange Vert. IMO nothing but simply classy. I got about a good 5 hours out of this one. Many hours later it's still present but not prominent.

^^ man that stuff was vile, I was beyond surprised at how it completely turned around.

I remember HOT being relatively interesting, cinnimon and patchouli or something. Sort of a dark frag, although i think I may have thought it was either too moody or too 'feminine' for my tastes.

Sables huh, where'd you get that one? The BN reviews mention maple smoked bacon a lot but all i got was a thick sweet honey note. Nice if lightly applied i think. Super, and I mean super, strong stuff. last time I tested this I used a few drops and it went all day and night.

what are you thoughts on those?

I wore Lalique Encre Noir yesterday, sample courtesy of Master Classter. Very classy and elegant; not really my thing.

Today, back to burning leaves. I wish this stuff was stronger, but I like it all the same.

Yeah, pretty much on the money. HOT is overdesigned, too much going on up front and too girly on the drydown. Couldn't understand the topnotes at all. Maybe camphor? Bleh.

Sables is good, but really linear. I just got fresh maple syrup for five hours. Then nothing. Dunno..

Today: cold, damp, grey, intermittent rain. Early day at the office. Tired, foul mood (Well, by my standards anyway). CdG Avignon - a dry, spare, woody-incense scent, not unlike an old church.

    Interesting layering combo

Another Windsor day for me. Still on the fence over this one.
