Rose 31 on a cool and blustery day in LA. Great combo for the 5 times a year this happens.

I'm a student and so can't afford the most expensive scents..

I like Jake from HollisterCo. It is their cheapest aftershave but I think it smells extremely nice. I get a fair few compliments from the ladies when wearing it and for some reason not everyone is using it - perhaps because they think it's cheap or whatever?

Anywho, I like it - for the smell - the low price tag is just a bonus!

strangely it was 80 degrees yesterday but I didn't wear anything, lots of work to do.

Today though - still balmy so I went with Guerlain Homme. I think that the fact that it's a Guerlain only adds to the disappointment: I wanted more substance than this.

Me too. Do you guys ever blind buy fragrances based on the packaging? I've only done it once, with Kiton Napoli. Both the bottle and the box are very beautiful.

I'm wearing JPG Le Male today.

I'm wearing L'Air du deset Morocain. I hardly ever wear it because is so freaking strong, but it's awfully lovely on this cold, windy day.

Trying out Etro Patchouly today. The opening was very nice but its died down quite a bit in the past few hours. Sort of a smoky patchouli. Might have to give this one another shot.

Won't take the chance. 95% of my blind buys were disappointments.

Moss Breche today - a little more sweet and powdery than I like normally.

Jeez: another warm, balmy day. Went with Kouros Fraicheur, just because I don't think I've worn it in quite a while.

Quick question...does frangrancenet.com and scentiments.com sell authentic cologne and perfume or should I stay away from that place. Anyone have any dealings with either websites. Thx

iirc, Scentiments has been fine. I think fragrancenet has a decent rep as well, although I can't recall dealing with them directly.

Dining out tonight. Just shaved and spritzed on a bit of Serge Lutens Borneo
