Thinking about trying some things from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Are there any scents that are must trys?

The oud series, particularly velvet mood. I kind of like Amyris and Pluriel, probably too boring for you, so will be AV and AU.

I am totally anosmic to Baccarat, maybe it will be different for you. I thought perhaps it was like the Emperor's new clothes, a non-perfume sold at fortunes for unsuspecting bloggers to rave about...

Lumiere Noire and APOM are well known although neither sticks out in my memory.

APOM PH and the original Oud are the ones I like from that line.
APOM is a must if you like orange blossom. But a little goes a long way. It can be pretty loud if oversprayed.

Welp, another beautiful summer morning here in Paradise.
Creed Royal Mayfair got the nod. Eucalyptus and rose. Love the Euc. note.

Penhaligon Sartorial. My new daily office scent. It has a certain sweet scent which I can't place.

Jul et Mad's Secret du Paradis Rouge gets the start for opening day of the semester. It's a slightly gourmandy orange blossom and almond. It's probably my favorite by Jul et Mad.

Frederic Malle's "Dries Van Noten."

I go back and forth on whether I like this, but it feels great today. Comforting and soft. A bit of vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, and musk. Slight hints of spices in the background.

It has a powdery quality to it. Also what feels like a hint of rose. Two things I normally dislike, but the tonka bean dominates.

Someone on Fragrantica described it as a "milky vanilla cookie dipped in champagne." It doesn't have the sweetness of champagne, but that's not a bad description.
