Yes, I had noticed. I think it was you mentioning that a local shop you frequent had some bottles of this. I should also mention that I saw several bottles available on ebay at a reasonable price. It's been a few months since I checked but I bet there are still some there.

Gucci Rush today.
I am happy, I was able to return my Creed OV today and get a refund.

This weekend I think I'm going to pick up either LV Vetiver or Yerbamate to fill its place

Good news! I'm glad to hear it; there is really nothing worse than having a $200 fragrance you don't even like... much less love!

You have sampled both the LVs generously, right??? LV tends to be a "love it or hate it" fragrance house... so just make sure you REALLY like them.

Yeah Ive gone through two samples of LV Vetiver and one small one of Yerbamate - which i think I am leaning towards now. I've also really been enjoying samples of Montale's Vetiver De Sables, and Steam Aoud.. So I may take some more time to decide.

Too much good stuff to choose from!

Montale's Aouds are wonderful... if you like Steam, then you'll probably love Black Aoud or White Aoud.

If you like a rose note, then Aoud Queen Rose is an absolute must.

this one takes a few tries, it's what I wish Baladin had been.
Also, Ormonde Man is damned good.

Today: Chanel Antaeus. Nothing more need be said, although I nearly swiped Mrs. Thomas's bottle of Chance.

I have a sample of that too but I seem to like it even less than Isfarkand. Maybe it does take a few tries...

It took a while for me to come around to OM, which is a more sinister version of Hermes' Bel Ami. It also took time for Bel Ami to click for me, and for me it's strictly a cold-weather scent.

I haven't smelled any of the Le Labo yet. I'll have to head down to Barney's and check 'em out. Thanks for the tip!

^You're welcome. They are both created by the same "nose" and one is MUCH more intense, so I think you'll really dig it. Unfortunately, the Le Labo costs an arm and a leg, but has the best longevity of any scent I've worn. I used up my bottle, but there were times when I'd put it on in the morning, wear it all day, go out at night, and wake up the next morning with it STILL discernible on my arm.

For me, Jicky EdP again today. I'm also in some top-secret negotiations with some back channels trying to get a good deal on the full-on Parfum version... so stay tuned.
