I am also wearing Tobacco Vanille today. This stuff totally reminds me of walking down the pipe tobacco aisle at walgreens when I was a kid.

Oh dear, what have I started? :embar:

Today was Patchouli Absolu. I can’t say I’m a huge patchouli fan; it’s a bit too much Mama Cass for my taste usually. I do like the Dior, and I like this one too. It has a green note to start with, rather than earthiness. When the patch kicks in, it’s relatively civilised; very good for the cold weather we’re having. It’s lasted very well; I’m writing this 16 hours after applying with a dauber and I can still smell it on my wrist easily. The base notes are not patchouli; there is a mild kind of amber mixed with a coolish note; maybe musk.

Today, I'm wearing Dolce & Gabbana By for Men - it's a quintessential scent of the late 90s, but is an excellent soft sandalwood.

I am wearing Jasmin et Cigarette. When ELDO introduced their first set of fragrances, everyone regarded this as the standout. But I don't see people talking about it much anymore. It's very good, though. The name pretty much tells you what it is.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino used this a couple of times, I really like it find it a warm herbal scent, good seeing its only 5c at present and I'll be spending a fair bit of time outdoors today.

First sample of Tom Ford Lavender Palm today. I'm loving the scent but I wish it was a little stronger.

LM Parfum - Army of Lovers. Unisex. Perfect for summer. Strong rose scent but also hints of LM's signature animalistic funk

I still have a decant of Derby from @Baron . My friend said it smells like money -- with which I totally agree.

Oud Fleur today. Don’t know about this; the oud is of the band-aid variety, and I don’t get much Rose. Dry-down is a pretty basic sandalwood, and it barely lasted 10 hours. Meh.

It does smell like money - like new bills with its bitterness.

Has anyone tried the offerings of Papillon Perfumes? I have a bottle of Anubis and love it, but am thinking about getting a bottle of Angelique.

I’ve been after Anubis for a while now, but nobody sells it here. If I can get hold of a decant someday, I’ll almost certainly go on to buy a full bottle (unless the immortelle is too much). At $160, it looks to be pretty good value compared to Ford and so on.

Today is Tom Ford London. Cold and rainy day, and this really hit the spot. I love the spice in this an edit lasts pretty well. When I eventually drain my decant I’m definitely getting more.

Today I am wearing Penhaligon's Juniper Sling. It is initially like a Gin cocktail.

The immortelle is not strong in Anubis.

I am wearing Dior Leather Oud today. It is a mighty, funky, super-masculine scent whose name is reasonably accurate.
