Been meaning to post here more.

Today I am trying Profumum Ambra Aurea. My only real point of comparison for an amber scent is Ambre Sultan, and this is quite different. Its a musky, smoky amber which has some church-y incense and myrrh on the side. I like it.

^^ If you enjoy ambers, you have to try Tom Ford Amber Absolute. It's the best of the best IMO. That's my SOTD today.

My pre-shower scent was Patchouli Absolu, which I actually enjoyed somewhat this time. Maybe I'm coming around like I did with London.

I’ve tried a sample of Amour de Palazzo. I wasn’t enthralled, but I need to give it a go in cooler weather.

Today I’m sampling Cedrat Enivrant. This is a really pleasant citrus that seems to project well. I’ll be interested to see how it develops.

Bit the bullet yesterday and blind-bought a bottle of Russian Tea online. There’s nowhere here to try it, so i took the plunge based on reviews.

Pre-shower: In the City of Sin. This is similar to Feminite du Bois and Plum Japonaise, but the plum is more prominent.
    SOTD: Parure.

CdG Energy C Lime. Another of those summery scents that work their way to the back of the drawer over the cooler months and are such a pleasant surprise when I pull them out on a hot day.

PdE Iskander, lovely citrus although not much different from a run of the mill mens citrus scent with the exception of the accentuated lime notes.

Terre d’Hermes. The wife started complaining the moment I walked out of the ensuite. :(

There's only one hour left in the day and now I'm all alone, so I think I'll finish the day without anyone complaining about Bijou Romantique!

I have switched into Leather Oud for my SOTE. If I were in the company of another person, they might very well complain about this one.

For some inexplicable reason, the women folk really dislike this. I was close to getting an EDP FB but my wife put her foot down....HARD!!

New Look 1947. This sometimes falls under my radar, but it really is quite good. I was looking for something else this morning when I noticed it in my box of decants.

Today: Dior Granville - a very good citrus for the wintertime.

^^ I tried quite a few times, but I couldn't bring myself to enjoy that one. It's one of the few Dior Private Collections that I don't really like.

Oh, certainly, it's not a crowd-pleaser. It's actually kind of a strange scent.

Divine L'Homme Sage today. One of my faves. Not a ton of projection, but just enough.
