There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That’ll be my SOTE, because I’m going to a concert.

Today it’s Philosykos. Doesn’t see to have the longevity that I expected from past use.

You’re going to put me off both music and fragrances for life with that kind of imagery. Peanut butter and jelly is a uniquely American obsession that does not travel at all well. I can think of few things more disgusting, myself.

Today and tonight: Sonoma Scent Studio Incense Pure - a super-rich extrait that is a nuanced version of Avignon. It's a resinous incense, but it is provided an energy by smells of camphor, eucalyptus, and/or evergreen. These components are very, very faint, so don't let that dissuade you.

So, I'm getting 3 mL of Iris Silver Mist (only tried it once in Tokyo), Sarrasins (apparently a must for indolic jasmine lovers), and Parfums de Nicolai Cuir Cuba Intense (leather and tobacco? Yes, Please!!). Are there any others, rarities, and/or gems that I should get?

I've been heeing and hawing over Iris Silver Mist for a few years and still can't decide. The other one I would compare it to is Hermes Hiris. Anyone know these two and have thoughts about which is better or how they're different?

(On the one hand I would think the Lutens is more rare and exotic, but I also think the bell jars, while pretty, are sort of impractical, and I love that Hermes blue bottle (old one), but of course the juice has to be worth the squeeze too...)

Tried Pharrell Williams' Girl on a blotter today - nice floral scent with a strong woody structure. Is it a woody fragrance or a floral one? They are pretty equal in relevance, and the blending will make it a popular fragrance even though it's not that original.

I put HdP 1725 on my wrists, and while I respect its quality, it's just just too sweet for me.

I wore Idole de Lubin today. I've shied away from wearing this much thinking it was a strong, boozy oriental. It's really not that strong at all - kinda transparent without a lot of village. A nice scent though.

True. I hate vegemite too. Like spreading axle grease on your toast.

Stinking hot today: Concentre d’Orange Verte.

Did any of you guys manage to get onto the Slumberhouse 33% off sale? They sold out of everything except Norne and Jeke. I wanted to get some Jeke, but only found out about it after it finished.

MFK samples arrived today. Not only the four I've ordered, but two on top of that. Great service.

Wore APOM homme today. MFK's description of it (powdery, herbal, floral with accents of orange flower, cedar wood and amber) is very accurate. It's very nice and high quality.

Need help identifying a L'artisan scent. I tested it in 2010 and I remember it smelling familiar like TCP antiseptic. I can narrow it to Dzing or Timbuktu but need help in dialing it down.

Dzing! and Timbuktu are very different. Did you check the notes?
