In a storefront display today I saw a 3 piece Scabal suit that looked very nice. Does anyone have any experience with Scabal-brand suits? Are they fused or canvassed? Any info appreciated.

Scabal's a fabric brand, not a suit brand. Search first, then post.

Their claim to fame is the quality and range of their cloth/suiting, which is widely available.
They also have MTM/RTW which is of very high quality (not fused) from my very limited knowledge of them, but rarer than a snowball in hell!

Regards.

This was a RTW Scabal suit, made with Scabal fabric of course. It looked very nice but I didn't have the opportunity to inspect it closer. So, the RTW stuff is high quality then? Anyone else have any experience with their suits?

There will be a (or three) fitting day at Breninger in November in Ludwigsburg with some % off.

Usually the MTM are starting with about 1200. For this special occasion with a limited amount of fabrics it will be 900 Euros.

So check the fit and the fabrics. Perhaps there will be better clothes out there?!
