    Guys,

After talking to one other person on this forum I am on the fence about getting this fabric as a DB or SB suit. IF I do the DB it would be a 6X2 style. Please give reasons to pick one versus the other.

I do work in a fairly conservative workplace but I dont care I do as I please :slayer:

Here is the fabric in question:

    Thanks Gents!

Are you certain this cloth can be made up into trousers and not a jacketing only cloth?

Gives off a SB vibe to me. What do you want, SB or DB?

Don't care for peaks on such a high contrast pattern plaid so yeah, notch. Hard to prescribe more details without knowing you, your build and personality and the context of when and where you wear this. I could see a 3 piece, classic details or patch pockets as a 2 piece suit, 3 roll 2. But there is not enough info to be decisive.

Fabric pattern seems too loud for a suit.

Just curious why not peak lapel with this plaid pattern?

Will you also be ordering curtains?

You answered your question. The angles of the peak compete with the angles and loud contrast of color in the pattern and become too much to take in. Becomes a distraction.

It just seems very loud, I would be very sure you want this as a suit. Or go in knowing that you might just wear the jacket as a SC if it does not work. Therefore I would follow Despos advice of 2B, patch pockets, 3 roll 2 2 piece.

If this is for a suit, go for SB Peaked lapel two piece

If this is for blazer, go for 4x2 DB

    Very nice fabric

I want that now. A loud cloth is a loud SB, but a loud cloth makes for a quirky DB. Not sure I'm making sense, but basically if youre going balls out with the cloth, might as well go all the way on cut as well.

If a suit, then I'd go for a Tom Ford-esque, massive peak lapel, roped shoulder, SB jacket. :slayer:

Where did you get the fabric from? :D

I have to agree it is too loud even for an SB.

+1, but if you must, I am with Chris: SB, patch pockets, 2 piece, 1 button or 3 roll 2.
