The prices on the Row don't seem all that terrible - averaging about £2500 - £3000 for a 3 piece, including VAT? For whatever reason, I thought it would be at least double that, plus VAT.

Not too old -- 2008, I think. Besides, Steed's price list would seem to agree directionally with that article (even though Steed isn't mentioned there).
