That made me sad, that it's come to this.

Ravi Tailor's story made me sad. Evisu almost ruined the guy.

Although I may never afford a Savile Row suit, I'd hate to see them go.

Well, from what I could tell, it looked like he was entirely to blame for that.

He's now with Anthony J. Hewitt as their cutter, I believe.

The prices on the Row don't seem all that terrible - averaging about £2500 - £3000 for a 3 piece, including VAT? For whatever reason, I thought it would be at least double that, plus VAT.

Not too old -- 2008, I think. Besides, Steed's price list would seem to agree directionally with that article (even though Steed isn't mentioned there).

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
