I love my Sauconys, and it's time to replace them. Unfortunately it's winter in Germany, so I'm looking for a running shoe that's waterproof/resistant. Any chance you'd have something?

Nuts, OK, thanks. Adidas and Nike make them from the 'sneaker' manuafacturers, while Montrail and Merrel and probably others make them from 'outdoors' brands. Tend to be heavy and hot, but also dry, which is nice at 6am in a January rain...

If you're looking for a shoe that's best suited for wet conditions, try asking on the Runner's World forums at www.runnersworld.com. I have a pair of GoreTex trail running shoes from Nike, but they are both heavy and hot relative to my other running shoes. I think that's a necessary consequence of the construction, but then again, I'm no expert on running shoes. dan

Thanks Dan, I'll check it out. Heavy's no fun, but hot I can deal with when it's this cold, and dry is better than wet.
