Hello Gentlemen,

Can someone who is familiar with Sartorio please tell me if the following is a orphaned suit jacket or a sport coat? If possible, please also let me know when this was made.

Looks like flannel + patch pockets.

I would wear that with trousers or denim no problem.

Might be an orphan because of the color and cloth, but the patch pockets make it far more casual and flexible in terms of use. Agreed with Eli above as its not like you'd be wearing a chalkstripe with jeans.

Gorgeous coat, but I personally find grey the hardest color for an odd jacket...

That absolutely looks like a suit coat. Grey flannel with patch pockets is a very weird choice for either a suit or sport coat.

Thanks for your replies. The jacket is actually navy in color. Please see the photo below. So it's definitely an orphaned suit jacket and not a sport coat?
