Tailored Camouflage - A laid back, yet elegant combination of a cashmere lined suede jacket from Cesare Attolini paired with a double-breasted flannel pinstripe suit from d’Avenza.

Wrap yourself in sumptuous cashmere in the form of a classic peacoat. This camel d’Avenza number is a great alternative to an overcoat. Covers suits and jacket and looks great with jeans too.

A different kind of layering. We find the pairing of this suede Kiton rider jacket and the boiled cashmere d'Avenza polo coat working to great effect. Blue on blue always works, as simple as that.

Inspired By - The English Country House Look

Spongey tweeds, earth colors and inviting textures are the common denominators of this look. It serves as an inspiration for the holiday season, stylish and appropriate to welcome family and friends in the comfort of your home.

Continuing the theme of cozy, yet elegant tailoring for the Holiday season. We love the texture of herringbone cashmere, always a great look with jeans and knitted pique shirts. The latter is the most comfortable to wear at home, given the natural stretch and open weave of the fabric.

Cold has come. Insulate yourself with down-filled outerwear for maximum warmth. Our Colmar collection offers a great variety of styles. We love to wear them over tailoring for a nice contrast even though they are normally meant to be worn with casual ensembles.

Question - are some of the items on Sartoriale considered what would be seconds? IE selling Brioni tie for $90....can you expect something minor to be wrong with it? Tilted pattern, off center tip etc etc? I have no reason to think this, just curious before making some purchases

Hi @Rugger,

No, it's not the case. If an item has any defects, it's always stated in the product description.

Our first photo session in the new year focused on all the great winter outerwear we have in store, layered over some seasonally appropriate tailoring. The first look features a heavy cashmere polo coat from d’Avenza, an unconstructed grey flannel suit from the same maker and cognac-colored handmade brogue shoes from Silvano Lattanzi.

Balmacaan coats and the raglan sleeve attachment having its great moment lately. Who still even remember the skinny fit, which reigned 10 years ago? Menswear moved on to a more voluminous cut, raglan sleeve outerwear being the most dramatic and wearable option to get the current look. This cashmere Brioni number feels like wearing a cardigan and being stylish at the same time.

Our latest look focuses on essential pieces in the tailored men’s wardrobe. A navy blue overcoat is versatile and stylish, working well both with suits and casual trousers. This unconstructed d’Avenza model matches particularly well with denim. Grey suits are best to wear during the daytime. For winter like them best in wool flannel. Here in a double-breasted cut, a favorite of style icons like Gianni Agnelli or Winston Churchill.
