As most of you already know, the Prince of Wales check is one of the true classics in the arsenal of men’s suiting patterns. While originality is one of the highest virtues in menswear, patterns present a great opportunity for personal interpretation through scale and color. Woven from a wool/silk yarn, this summer PoW check from Isaia was clearly created with Neapolitan sensibility. The grey base color of the pattern is enhanced with a vibrant ocean blue for a sophisticated effect. We dressed it up in sprezzy Isaia style, but it would work well also with a white linen shirt and dark blue chinos. A stylish everday look on hot summer day.

Rust, as a color description for this Isaia jacket, would be too understated. While the shade is as close as it gets, the effect is much more striking. This is partly due to the cloth designers unique eye and partly to the wool/silk/linen yarn, to take dye to this rich, captivating shade. To say it more straightforward, this is a wonderful jacket to behold for the summer months. Soft, lightweight and easy to wear. A great combination with basic trousers and your finest brown dress shoes.

We highlighted this excellent wool/silk/linen suit from Isaia in our latest blog post. Such a versatile piece, it works wonderfully if you have weekend travels planned and need to look sharp. Click on the picture to see the different ways to wear it.
