very nice collections... wanna give it my first try.
I'm glad sartoriale is on SF. I'm a past customer as well, and look forward to further purchases.
And great thread on movie suits!
My congratulations. It is really a praiseworthy business model because you help the Neapolitan tailor heritage not only to be alive but, even more important, to be affordable as it used to be in the old days. When these items will be available only to very rich people will be the end of the style.
Please don't hesitate! We are here, if you have any questions, or need help...
I am glad that we are able to sell the best tailored garments in the world.
Throughout the years we have built a great relationship with many tailors, craftsmen, and distributors in Italy, mostly in Napoli, so we are can offer an amazing collection that only SARTORIALE sells online and keep the prices low.
SARTORIA CHIAIA Napoli is one of the hottest new bespoke maker in Naples.
As the exclusive online source for Sartoria Chiaia, we are proud to share our impressions about their contribution to Neapolitan tailoring.
The story of Chiaia Napoli goes back 45 years. Originally founded under the name Cenzi by master trouser maker Vincenzo Annunziata, in the past 4 decades, he made pants for everybody who is important in Napoli, his work was appreciated and utilized by many other tailoring house, as well. Vincenzo is still responsible for the pant department, while his son Gennaro acts as a cutter, tailor, coatmaker.
29 years old Gennaro, who trained with Borrelli, is one of the youngest master tailors in Italy, known for his innovative, rakish take on Neapolitan style. He respects the tradition fully, while aims to modernize it, make it exciting for the younger generation. His talent for pattern making and cutting brought Sartoria Chiaia into the limelight worldwide, from Korea to Athens.
Gennaro creates a completely handmade garment from the canvassing, padding to the shoulder construction and not least the hand finishing.
If you browse through our selection, you will probably see that the cut is not for the faint hearted. Exaggerated lapels ending in a high gorge, slightly extended, masculine shoulders are a mainstay, these make the jackets modern, distinctive and sexy. Special shaped pockets make the garments instantly recognizable. The construction is always soft and light with enough structure to create appealing shapes.
Trousers come mostly normal waisted and pleated, tapered to a slim hem. They are truly a pleasure to wear, the sharp lines make them formal, while they feel more comfortable than your favorite sweatpants. Pants are fully hand made, down to the buttonholes, the outer seam , waistband are all handstitched.
This modern sartorial look is imitated the world over these days, however few maker does it so good like Sartoria Chiaia. Cut, construction and finish make these garments easy to wear, you can forget about them after you put them on, classic tailoring, amazing fabrics, always in the right weight.
If you have any questions, or thoughts about our CHIAIA selection, you can contact us, or share them here!
Wishing you the best. Just because I think you deserve it, just posted the prior one.
I am not sure I followed all that, but I do have to agree that there is a serious issue with the shoulder/arm fits in those pics!!
