It sucks. And there’s plenty of better bbq spots not named franklins
I would consider myself relatively educated when it comes to food (and palette) but yet have to experience a ****** meal at rudy's but to each it's own. I am not from texas but go there often enough and have tried a lot of known spots that are apparently perceived better but was always disappointed given long wait and hassle.

Rudy’s may not be Louis Muller but it is good. Of all the major bbq chains I think is is head and shoulders above the rest, especially the brisket. The original location in Leon Springs was pretty cool when I visited.

To make things slightly on topic, I was wearing my Justin’s in burgundy iguana.
