1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

thought this might make for interesting discussion. seems to be a number of people on the forum who would like to own really great, well tailored clothing, but the prices might seem out of reach. however, i don't think you have to spend a mint to make yourself look like a million bucks....just spending wisely on quality. here are a few things i found on ebay, i'm sure there are many more at thrift stores and sales. i guess the thing to remember is that clothing by Oxxford, Brioni, Turnbull, etc. is made to last 10 years plus....classic pieces that could, conceptually, last a lifetime, works to your advantage if bought on extreme sale, or slightly used. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=981312398 (super 150s paul stuart suit) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=982796568 (Oxxford sportcoat) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=982798264 (brown monkstraps by Sulka) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=981305862 (Turnbull & Asser shirt) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=982963633 (new Zegna suit for $700 may seem like a lot, but a STEAL)

This is really what my book is about...Hope it will be a help to all. I'm down to the final details- proofing, testimonials, fact checks, etc.

Anyone want to help with fact checking? Mike C. has already graciously volunteered to help.
