Thanks to all of you guys for the inquiries for the Deerskin suede.
1 Jacket length is gone and 1 is on hold!

And We've just finished a Canton A-1 jacket with the our new exclusive Cigar Lamb Suede. More pictures are coming soon. Stay tuned.

Our buttons are now done in a "Crow's Foot" Stitching, Or "Fleur De Lis” by some. The thread is sewn from the first hole to the second hole in a straight line. From the first hole, the thread is then sewn diagonally to both sides. The Crows Foot is one way you can tell whether a button has been sewn on by hand or by machine, and it also adds a bit of flair to our jackets besides the utility purpose. (Making the button harder to fall off)

Hope it's okay to post this in an affiliate thread, but I figured I'd post this composite from last Sunday. I got several compliments walking around Griffith Observatory in L.A.

@Andy57 - that shade of snuff is fantastic.

Can I ask, is this the Canton A-1 model?

P.S. @CraftsmanCo , what is your pricing policy with regard to fully bespoke orders? I know that's one of those "how long is a piece of string" questions, but assuming I'm just using a good quality lambskin suede and not chasing exotic leathers, how much am I going to be paying?

It's not Snuff, it's Polo suede, which is a lot more red or russet colored. It was (or was originally) a limited run and you'd have to ask Craftsman if they still are able to make a jacket in Polo. And, yes, it is the Canton A1.

Some pictures of my newly-arrived linen Hemingway.

I used Craftsman's "bespoke" process, which I think has produced a better result than their MTM process that I used when I bought my Canton A1. The try-on shirt was too tight across the chest, for example, and this finished jacket certainly is not. It might be a bit on the roomy side, but not to the point where it would need altering, I think. I'm very happy with the design tweaks I asked for and that Craftsman accommodated--such as the flapped, inverted-pleat pockets with no buttons (although I'll admit to second guessing myself a bit about that now), and the cuff style, and so on.

I'm wearing it today for the first time as it's an unseasonably warm day here. I may not get too many more chances before Spring, but you never know. Global warming and all...

    Hi @Styleternity

Andy's Canton A-1 in Polo Suede is a GMTO which we can always unlock with 5 jackets order.

We don't charge extra for our bespoke service (if you're referring to being provided with a try-on garment for fitting). It would be $50 in additional to MTM price to cover the shipping.

We also take Bespoke order for the jacket styles that are currently not in line or offered.

Hope that clarifies and don't hesitate to chat with us via email info@craftsmanclothing.com or craftsmanclothing@gmail.com

    Cheers
