I realize this post is old, however I wanted to offer my experiences for future reference.

I have a Sartoria Italiana suit and two pants, and two Sartoria diffusion jackets. I bought all at a Rinascente store in Cagliari. The Rinascente is an upscale department store chain found throughout Italy. It offers high-end clothing and Sartoria Italiana & Diffusion are their house line (apparently).

Sartoria Italiana and Sartoria Diffusion seem to be the same company. Judging from the price, it appears that the Italiana line is the higher quality line. However, the Diffusion jackets all show the provenance of the wool.

Overall, I am absolutely thrilled by the quality of both lines. The fit is fantastic, as is the finishing, both outside and inside. The jackets appear fused as you can't feel the floating canvass between. A peeve of mine is that the sleeve buttons can't be unbuttoned, but I'm starting to give up on that detail. The finishing and quality is as good or better than jackets from Burberry or Boss, for example.

The price level is also OK; jackets go for 200-250 EUR whereas suits for 300-400 EUR. I use all articles fairly frequently and you can see no signs of age in two years. I would definitely recommend taking a look at these lines.
