Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Final fitting on the doppio uso. He said he’d reduce the lapel belly a smidge before delivery. Basted fitting on the gun club jacket and flannel trousers.

Looking to order some shirts from him next time he’s in Tokyo. Do you guys recommend? I believe they’re made by Avino.

Try his shirts-had a good conversation with @gazman70k last Friday on this and maestro knows your size from the fittings anyway.I will get some next time.
I'm sure others can chime in...I'm also interested to hear opinions

While I have no experience with kotaro’s shirts, I’d imagine a shirt maker who sees you would be better. But, I’m sure it’s good from kotaro too.

Miami Shirts in Tokyo or Les Leston in Osaka are pretty nice domestic shirt makers.

Ah thanks for the suggestions. I'm aware of both but reckon I prefer the Corcos house style. There's also Camiceria Eri but again, the pick stitching is a bit much for my taste.

I don't have experience with bespoke shirts but Miyahira-san said he has a trial shirt made up for the customer to wear and wash a few times to account for shrinkage before making the actual shirt. Two-shirt minimum for first orders, which seems really reasonable. And as Torsion said he already knows my measurements.
