Sartoria CASTANGIA quality and cut?

Dear guys

Any of you have the experience with Satoria Castangia quality and cut?do they have napoli or milan cut? and do they stay in Boxy or Slim-fit side?

Also how good are they compare to Kiton or Isaia?
many thanks !

p/s: they have "platinum" and "1850" line, is the platinum a higher level label?

Most Sartoria Castangia pieces are a slim cut. Suits generally have stronger shoulders and more structure in the chest (more Milanese). Sportcoats are softer, sometimes completely unconstructed (more Neapolitan). The Platinum line uses the most luxurious fabrics, this is the main difference between the two lines. All the jackets are fully canvassed with a high armhole and subtle shoulder line and beautifully made. They are better than most currently offered Isaia, some of the pieces are easily on par with Kiton.

If you find the cut right for you, go for it you won't be disappointed.

I have a Castagna sport coat with a Battistoni label purchased at Barney's
around 2006. Barneys carried this line for years. It is fairly structured w/ an
extended shoulder and a longish cut and extremely well-made. When I visited
'Battistoini in Rome five years ago their RTW was much softer.

Every Castangia suit I've owned have had different shoulder profiles.

One was completely natural

One was quite structured and square

One was somewhere in between, but had roped shoulder sleeves

The Battistoni suits / jackets I've owned have been more consistent. Def. more Roman, very similar to Brioni.

I happened to try a Castangia navy blazer at a local shop just the other day. I'd only heard of them and never tried. Super good. Price point of $3500 for the blazer, so pricey, but while it didn't have the Neapolitan style unstructured shoulder, everything else was super great. Put the brand on my radar in a big way.
