Doesn't everyone?After I remove the ice pack from my shoes, I use a deep pore-cleansing lotion. Then I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey-almond scrub, and on the vamp an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint mask, which I leave on the shoe for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use a conditioning lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries out the leather and makes it look older. Then a moisturizer, then an anti-aging balm, followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. ...
Four times a year, I send my shoes to San Francisco's Spa Radiance, where they get the Grand Luxe Facial--a three-hour long treatment. There, aestheticians use Diamond Peel Microdermabrasion, which gently exfoliates the leather, and Purikiss Microcurrent Disencrustation, which removes impurities, brown spots and sebum deposits (ok, go for it...). The final step is LED light therapy that promises to scale back years of sun damage and irritation. Meanwhile, I staycation because nothing is too good for my dog boxes...
