Santoni - Where can I buy this shoe?

Ran accross a photo of a Santoni shoe on a Nordstrom's link, but they do not seem to sell the shoe pictured. Nor can I find it on Santoni's web page. Anyone know anything about this shoe?

that particular shoe is i believe found only in Europe, part of their Limited edition or classics line.
they just put that picture up there just to jazz up the nordstrom santoni homepage. it is not something you can get at nordstrom or order through them, as nordstrom is only limited to U.S. models and whatever is on their catalogs.

you may be able to call santoni boutique in New york and inquire about it, they may be able to order it for you from europe.


just to let you know, that shoe (if it is limited edition) can run you up to $1800 dollars.

Interesting shoe. I was in Paris a couple of weeks back and would have sworn I saw a very similar shoe made by Bally. Don't see it on their website though.

it is not something you can get at nordstrom or order through them, as nordstrom is only limited to U.S. models and whatever is on their catalogs.

I would try anyway. My local Nordies seems to be able to get the entire catalog Santonis-not sure if this model would be included in the U.S. catalog or not. You can find the amazing Florence wholecut model more readily if you are open to a second choice.

New York Santoni may have them or can get them from Europe.
They are either Limited Edition or Fatte A Mano.

I don't think they are good business shoes unless you are in an artistic field. Casual is your call.

-I would agree they are not practical shoes. And for the money probably do not stand the test of time. I personally would never buy them as they are not my taste. To each his own though. In this price range, you might want to consider:

Magnanni has a similiar shoe, albeit of a single tone variety. It's a rather fragile affair, and I don't suppose one should expect to wear them beyond summer months. Why would they want to do it in the 1st palce is another matter completely.
