Santoni shoes?

Can anyone help me with sizing of these shoes. I wear a size 11.5d in Allen Edmonds and was wondering how sizes compare. Also, what is the quality like? What shoes have comparable quality levels? I was thinking of bidding on a pair on Ebay and haven't seen any in person. I would hate to win a bid and be disappointed with my purchase if they didn't fit or were poorly manufactured.

Could you give a link to the auction? Santoni makes several different lines of varying levels of quality.

I apologise for my ineptness with a computer but I have no idea how to post a link.

There are actually 2 pairs I am interested in. The first is a pair of cap toe oxfords listed as "townsends" and the second is a pair of suede loafers listed as "hudsons". Both pairs are a size 11d which is smaller than my AE size but I was wondering if the Santoni shoes fit a little larger.

Those Townsend half brogues are very nice.

The Santonis that I have tried on (and I've tried on shoes from both the Classico line and the mid-range Goodyear-welted line) have all been true to size, although none of them was made on the same lasts as the shoes that you're considering.

I decided to pass on the shoes. I didn't want to risk the shoes not fitting properly. There is nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes.
