Curious to see that they are putting "Goodyear a Mano" (Goodyear by hand)... what does that mean? Is it handwelted? Or did they sew by hand the shoe using the same linen holdfast that goodyear welted shoes use?

The waist definitely looks much tighter and fiddle more pronounced than on my standard goodyear Santoni's. The website describes it as "hand-made Goodyear construction" https://www.santonishoes.com/us/uniqua/ and in the video it looks like they may have a linen rib in under the upper leather.

Thanks, watched the video and indeed it does seems that they have that linen strip instead of a channeled insole. Wondering why would they do that? I mean, looks like the same amount of work as handwelted.
