Santoni Monks with jeans

Hi everyone. I jst bought, wat is at the moment my favorite shoe, the Santoni Upton Double Monk Strap Shoe in brown.

I got them at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for a good deal. How do u guys think it will look with dark blue jeans? Im jst a rookie when it comes to shoes looking for some expert advice. Thanks!

For me, it would come down more to fit. I see young guys on SW&D do the slim jeans/elongated toed shoes. To be better proportioned, I'd go for a 505 style jean fit wearing those. (To me, 'normal' toed shoes look best with slim jeans)
