I've just come across the UK shoe company Sanders & Sanders http://www.sanders-uk.com/, and I'm interested in some of their boots. But a lot of them (especially the ones I'm most interested in) come only in G fittings. I'm wondering if anyone knows how these Gs compare to US widths. Are they genuinely wide? I'm usually a bit on the wide side of the standard spectrum (occasionally EE), so I'm wondering if they'd be feasible.

Their F fitting is already generally wider than most english brands E or F fitting, especially in country/casual lasts.

So G width would be a good wide fit and good for you, I never tried a G width however, but I own and handled lots of their F fitting.

Very helpful, thanks.

Is there a reason so many of their boots are only G? Are casual/country shoes meant to fit wider or looser? It's not something I've seen before, defaulting to a wide fitting.
