Just a reminder, if you are planning on attending the December 5th SF Meetup to RSVP in this thread. It helps us better manage these events when we have a good headcount. Thanks!

We do offer straight razor shaves. Our barber, Sef, is an amazingly talented barber who puts his clients in a relaxed trance during the shaves. Our members are also able to use their memberships at any of our 8 locations across the country - San Francisco, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Toronto and four NY locations.

Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions about John Allan's

The stylist, Alandria, gave me a scissor buzz cut. It is the first one I've been offered outside of Paris or Italy. It is a nice 'old school" touch and one my wife immediately noticed when I got home. (As you can see I don't have a lot of hair to work with so every snip matters). She is a real pro and has quite a loyal following around San Francisco. If you want a stylist they specializes in men's hair be sure and book an appointment with Alandria. (while also getting a manicure, shoeshine, etc...)

Having a manicure while getting a haircut is something I had only seen in the movies. But, it really makes sense. It saves time and feels relaxing. I have to admit, all of that attention is nice too!

Hey guys, where do you want to eat following the Meetup? Remember, it must be able to take a group as walk ins, and no $$$$ group minimum. Also, walking distance of Union Square.

Right on the other side of Market St there are some options like Tropisueno, which is pretty good and not too expensive. I'm not sure if they could fit all of us as walk-ins but they do take reservations.

^^Isn't that the place where you get to drink for free if you show up with five or more paying friends?

Tropisueno is awesome and has great chicken mole. I would also recommend Katana-Ya for Ramen. The only problem with the two is I don't know if they would be able to accommodate as a walk-in, especially if we have a large group.
