Style Forum Party, Sale, & The Vintagent Motorcycles

After three years we thought it was time to finally have a party for Style Forum, a website dedicated to all things stylish and refined. This Saturday night from 7pm to 10pm come to Self Edge for a meeting of like minded individuals from the Style Forum realm. Along with the Style Forum party we're having a very special guest by the name of Paul d'Orleans, Paul d'Orleans is 'The Vintagent', writing about Everything Old Motorcycle on his popular website: http://www.thevintagent.blogspot.com/. His work has been published from Maximum Rock 'n Roll to Metropolitan Home, and he's not-so-secretly a Style Forum fashion hound, having been a Style Forum member since 2007. Like the Grail, he's on a constant search for stylish clothes which can take the abuse of leaked oil and road grit, as his bikes are inevitably Very Old and Very Leaky. Please come this Saturday night, April 4th between 7pm and 10pm while we ogle vintage motorcycles, drink locally brewed beer provided by Self Edge, and talk shop whether it be about vintage denim or motorcycles. We're encouraging anybody with a motorcycle or moped to come to Self Edge saturday night for some showing off. There will also be some vintage mopeds coming from the local moped outlaw scene. 7pm to 10pm April 4th, Saturday Style Forum and Vintagent Party. Come get your style and motorcycle talk on, everything in the store will be 15% off. Free Self Edge x Flat Head Chambray shirt for every purchase over $200 in-store, free red Rum Bats! loopwheeled Buzz Rickson crewneck for every purchase over $400 (not available for online purchases). Everything in store will be 15% off during this party with the exception of Mister Freedom's new chambray shirts. Customers not attending the party can use a coupon code for 15% off everything in our online store starting at 9AM (PST) Saturday April 4th, the coupon code will be good for 24 hours starting at 9AM. Sale terms cannot be retroactive for past purchases. Coupon Code for 15% off everything: SelfEdgeMotorcycleClub www.selfedge.com/shop

Wow! I have a pair of jeans that need hemming. Should I bring them or will things be too hectic?

mm if we come into the store earlier in the day, will there still be a 15% sale/shirt giveaway? I wish I could make it in the evening but I can't :/

Last night was an enjoyable San Francisco Styleforum meetup at Self Edge.

Of course, it wouldn't be an official SF event without Label King joined by Vintagent and his daughter Zoe.

Our host for the evening and owner of Self Edge, Kia, standing next to a vintage 1968 Norton. The vintage bikes were provided by Paul (Vintagent).

I had a great time. Enjoyed seeing some some of the SF regulars and meeting some new people (local bloggers, Superfuture folk, etc.). The store and its wares are always fun to visit, but last night was a real pleasure. Loved hearing Kiya's stories about how he got into the business, how much thought and care go into the products, and how he deals with shoplifters! Paul's vintage bikes were a treat too. Thanks so much to Kiya, Paul, and Gus for putting this together.
