I'd be down, if y'all'll have a newb.

Now I've gotta start figuring out what I'm gonna wear [IMG]

We have a well-established tradition of welcoming newbs to buy us drinks.

Amazing- I've got a two day trip to the Bay area coming up, and my only night free is Feb 9.

    I'm in.

Why do we always do these in the middle of the week???

I would like to make it, but I'm about to go into serious crunch time on my current project which means long hours including overtime and intense work everyday, so its not likely I can drive down and back and then fake being productive at work the next day when I'm actually exhausted. Look at it this way: if you show up the next day at 10:30 sleep-deprived and hung-over, you'll only be working 2x as hard as any other state employee, not your regular 5x. [IMG]

Some of us have been known to meet for a drink aside from official SF meetups......[IMG]

    It could be arranged.

Most of us regulars are not available on the weekends owing to the various
ecclesiastical obligations which we have incurred.

[IMG] We could do something on Saturday night of that week for Niidawg and Bradford. I'm not sure my girlfriend would be happy about my hanging out w/ strange men twice in one week though.

That I would like to see.

will be in your neck of the woods from the 11th to the 16th.

Well, it is crab season. A couple of drinks and a fresh crab cocktail at Tadich Grill along with some sourdough bread is a good San Francisco experience.

Or maybe Irish coffees at the Buena Vista. Iammatt and I had one last year before meeting Salvatore. I think it had been about 20 years since my last one. Don't know why I waited so long.

http://www.comstocksaloon.com/ is a fun place too, for drinks and food.
