We had a chance to take some pictures of the sample pair of Samurai's newest,
heaviest denim ever, 24 rigid ounces of genuine indigo Japanese selvage denim.
Full production has started now with an expected delivery date of June/July 2009

these would last forever,

I assume that with heavier denim, there is more indigo in the threads and as a result much darker fades, and much longer lifespan

24oz, thats ridiculous I would hate having to 'shrink to fit' a pair of these bad boys

Hah! A wear-while-soaking-in-tub could result in death or leg amputation due to lack of circulation!

I have the IH 21 oz 634S jeans and they are surprisingly soft. It's become one of my favorite pair. I'm really curious about this one. Not that familiar with Samurais though.
