I'm deciding between the S5000VX and the S0510XX III. I'm looking for a somewhat relaxed fit, mid rise (just definitely not low rise).

I have the 5000vx and the 510-19oz. I sized down 2 for the 5000's and one for the 510's. I am no denim expert but they are supprisingly different fits. The 510's are more square cut and have a noticably higher rise.

Can't go wrong with S5000 cuts.

When I tried on the 510, I was amazed how baggy it was. I went with PBJ 007 instead.

I do believe samurais will shink an incredible amount with an initial hot soak or two.

The nice thing about unsanforized denim is that if you're careful you can control the shrinkage in certain places and tweak the fit a bit...
