Samurai questions... help with rise?

I want to pick up some heavyweights...

I've been checking out a couple models that caught my eye.

S3000VX
S510XX-19oz-II

I would like to know what the rise is on these pairs.
(Seems the Samurai jeans never have the rise listed)

Any other suggestions would be welcome.
I can manage a bit slimmer than my Aihikos are through the thigh (29cm or so) but just barely. And don't want any smaller at the hem (22.5).

All I want is heavyweight, regular fit, straight leg, mid-rise jeans! (not sure I can ask for something more 'middle of the road' than that)

those two would be high rise according to me. they wont reach up to your navel but you will certainly wear them a bit over your hips. Maybe this is mid-rise to you?

You can email Samurai and ask them to measure the rise, they did it for me before. Remember to tell them for which size.

I"d call anything much over 11.5 (about 29cm) a high rise I guess. Mid-rise for me is up to around 11.5... if the Samurais are over 12, I'd say I'm probably not interested. Are the S5000VX black or blue (I blame my confusion on my monitor)



Moving on to OTHER thing on the shopping list... I was checking out Aero Leather. I'm thinking about the current 101B from Lee Europe (the pockets on the OLD lees totally turn me off) and the '47 LEvis and wanted to know the hem/knee/rise on those?

I just bought the S510XX 19 oz in tagged size 36 waist. It is new, unwashed and it measures 38 waist, 38 length, 12.5 front rise, 16.5 back rise. Not sure how much they will shrink down but the tag says they shrink to a snug fit.

S5000VX is blue - looks black presoak
S5000BK is black - Looks black and will stay black.

S5000VX is mid-rise in Samurai's line, the other 510 models are slightly higher rise, one of those will definitely fit you. Email them and ask how high the rise is, they are helpful.
