• 17 ounce Samurai Original Japanese selvage denim. The jeans is selvage even though there is no selvage line on the outseam. There are hidden selvage lines on the coin pocket and zipper.

• The Samurai "Jin Model" XJ denims are made with a hefty #5 size yarn on the weft for an intense slubby texture on the backside of the denim but still maintaining a soft hand due to the left hand weave. The Light Blue selvage line contains a single strand of Silver lamé symbolizing the gleam of the razor sharp sword which the samurai possesses. This is what Samurai refer to as "Sword Selvage".
