My Puma romas are getting ready to be replaced. I am condiering classic white and green Stan Smiths or the original black, white, and tan sambas. I need a sneaker that is versatile and can go well with anything, from shorts and a T shirt to jeans and an oxford. I am leaning towards the sambas because it is so hard to keep white shoes white. Your thoughts please.

Sambas. 100% I'd recommend the Samba K though, the Kangaroo leather is worth it.

I like the classic look of the Stan Smiths on other people but personally I wear a ratty old pair of sambas as my work/beater sneakers.

Stan Smiths without a doubt. They're in the outlets and discounters though, so don't pay full price. Also, buy a nice Fred Perry shirt to go with the shoes... They're a deadly combo.

Stan smiths. The vintage ones are better quality but be aware the leather has a shiny / glossy finish which you'll either love or hate.

Best answer here. They aren't expensive so you could buy 1 pair of each if you're on the fence.
