Let's all post pictures of our Ferragamo Tramezza and Originale line shoes..

So I'm pretty much new to the dress shoe game being a Jordan collector having Allen Edmonds, Carmina, C&J, Alden, Ferragamo, mid-tier shoes also in my collection. I am going out on a limb here but have to say the Ferragamo may not be the best bang for the buck, but I feel that the quality and build is up there compared to the higher tier brands despite all the hate in the forums.

The quality and leather selection is among the best out IMO. Makes my AE pairs look cheap and inferior, even the Carmina's. Looks like the latter brands mentioned were rushed in the production line with little or no attention to detail and quality control from my experience. And no, I'm not talking about factory seconds. I received a pair of strands lately that had stitching on the welt extending all the way to the edge among other defects as a huge bump on the leather. Pictures may be posted upon request.

Enough with the talking, here are my Jordan 11 Bred grail equivalent which are Tramezza full wings. Makes my MacAllisters look like a Jordan collection level or even regret purchasing. Goodyear welted with no welt fudging but note the stitch density and attention to detail....

I may even get more hate by praising the Originale line but I do feel the same about them. Although I think they are Blake rapid stitched, please do pay attention the welt fudging. How do these compare to the $1000 shoes? In my opinion, Ferragamo only selects the best calf leather for these lines as well. They are much finer compared to the other brands mentioned in my humble collection. I have to really hard to find imperfections if any. I can send these back to Ferragamo for recrafting for $100 or so and will have the same hidden channel stitching I believe so not bad at all.

Here are my second favorite Jordan 11 Concord equivalent..

Here are my 3rd favorite Jordan 4 Bred equivalent :)

Can someone confirm that these are Blake rapid stitched? Don't really want to pull out the insoles that are glued on..

After taxes from the outlet - Tramezza $530 ; Originale $490

Really can't go wrong with the prices paid.

2019 Collection will be delivered at the outlets soon!

That's a pretty good deal! I think the studio line shoes get the really bad rep of being overpriced junks. Tramezza line shoes are still good stuffs if on sale.

I agree. Even at $795 retail for the Originale pairs pictured above, I think they are still worth it considering the quality Italian shoes you get. For a bit more than the Carmina's, I would rather have these.

$100 to recraft them with hidden stitches is also a plus for me. I think that these shoes will outlive me for sure.

Check out these flaws on new pairs of AE and Carmina recently purchased. Again, not factory seconds. These flaws are not to be found on the Ferragamo oxfords to include the Originale line, not even close. Flawless leather on the Ferragamo is just a bonus.

Not really fair to compare to Allen Edmonds. I consider those to be priced around low $200s. At full retail price of Ferragamos ($795), I'd prefer Vass though.

Here is the huge bump on the new pair of MacAllister's , not factory seconds. Unacceptable, AE never again other than the Cordovan line maybe.

I have yet to see Vass but heard so many great things about them.

So after my posts above, ventured with may other brands to include C&J, EG, AS, etc. This shoe thing is highly addictive. i probably now have around 13 new shell shoes purchased in a year or so, 14 in calf lol yet to wear all of them :)

Maiden Voyage for the Ferragamo Cap Toe’s yesterday. I’m very impressed. Received plenty of compliments. Very comfortable from the get go. Premium leather definitely with only slight creasing at the end of the day. I’m probably the only one here who does not have a pair of Park Avenue’s but I’m glad that I never pulled the trigger. Actually, the only true black toe I have is Carmina in shell. Tempted now to try out TLB but I’m running out of drop front shoe boxes from my previous and mostly sold Jordan collection.
