(ViroBono @ 14 Dec. 2004, 09:00) No, just that they had a large box of scarves at that price - the price may be further reduced after Christmas on remaining stock. Â Why don't you phone them and ask?
It is the sales price. The last year it was £45 in january. Because I trust you. Were shirt at  $ 45/44/43  (alos the sales price) [IMG]
Dude, go to their new website (same address). The sale is on and that's the price.

The decreasing price is only in the shop I guess.

This price should be $43 if you buy 6 shirts in the shop

I can only presume that the management of Hilditch & Key visits this forum frequently and have taken pity on Ernest's anxieties. Today passing through Jermyn Street I can tell you: H & K is having the Sales signs up. Shirts are £ 45.00 (or £ 43.00 each, for 6); cashmere scarves (the standard plain ones) are £ 35.00. This might be the "real" Sale, or it might be just an appetizer with more merchandise and better prices to come in January. I don't know. Oh yes, they've put up a sign: "By popular demand of a single person, Sale is early this year" (just kidding).

£35 for scarves?[IMG]?? It was £ 45 last year. Are you sure? Have you came in the shop? Do they have much more choice than on the website?

I picked up a leaflet at H&K over the weekend - their Winter Sale actually started on 11th December. Also extra 10% discount if you turn up on 29th December before 10am.

Their City Sale (near Liverpool Street) is on 10th and 11th January, and there's an extra 10% discount if you turn up on the 10th before 2pm.

    Sales starting sooner, lower prices.

    Is H&K in crisis?

Last winter, shirts from H&Hudson were at $100 for 3 shirts in their shop.

    What is the situation now?

    Please help me.

I think I have already read somewhere here, or in the other place that they are £39.95 each for 3 at present in Harvie and Hudson.

Check out their website, it has been recently overhauled.

I know what is on their site but last winter prices were not the same on the web and in the shops.

It was 3 for £100 in shops. I was more expensive on the site.

And as regular prices were higher, it shouldn't be more expensive than 3 for £100 now.

Why don't you call them, ernest? They can tell you better than we can.

    Because :

    1) I do not speak English enough good
    2) It is expensive
    3) People from London may have gone into these shops and know the answer.

    1. Your English is good enough for you to post here and be understood most of the time 2. A 3-minute phone call is not that expensive, especially for someone with 25 Lanvin suits and 14 braces. 3. You are clearly pumping every person you can at the forum at every instance that Jermyn Street is mentioned for these specific details about specific makers. This is a greater time commitment (and Internet usage commitment, and that's not cheap in France) than a phone call. Practice makes _parfait_ -- pick up the phone, my boy.
