An odd thing, perhaps, for SF, but some of you might be interested -- H.W. Gerstner and sons, a renowned cabinet and toolboxmaker in Ohio is having a huge sale tomorrow. They make a large variety of collector's cabinets and jewelry boxes in addition to their famous toolboxes for machinists. The workmanship, fit, and finish is stunning. And tomorrow, the pricing is great. Maple, Oak, Walnut and Cherry are the commonly used woods, but they also make boxes in some exotics also. We own three sets of Gerstner boxes and I'm thinking of putting in an order tomorrow. Something like this would be amazing for watches, cufflinks and all of our ephemera.
Not affiliated in any way other than as a customer. By the way, their idea of a 'second' is better than most firms' idea of first quality. http://www.gerstnerusa.com/ ~ Huntsman
