Unbelievably high for being on sale, perhaps?

Shirts: $100 (down from about $300+)
Ties: $50 (down from about $100+)
Suits: about $600-$900 (down from about $2000+)

Shoes are not on sale.

BTW there's a sale at Oxxford too but I didn't have a chance to stop in.

I can only imagine the ghastly patterns they'll try to unload, you know the holdovers from the mid-70s.

My recollection is the shirts they have on sale are quite nice and they have a large stock. I'll definitely be heading over - though probably not today, as it's raining.

Well, despite the downpour, I went. A very successful visit (depending on how you look at it...) Amazing selection of ties - hundreds upon hundreds. Some loud, some subdued, depending on what you are looking for. Very nice. Shirts are great. $100 for the shirts. That includes Sea Island quality which are over $300 MSRP. Good selection, but they are going relatively quickly. 14.5 are pretty much cleaned out (thanks to me and someone this morning, apparently.) Anyway, well worth a visit.

BTW,

- They will alter sleeve length for $15, done in about a week.

- They have a decent selection of suits and sport jackets: ~ 100 or so. Price for suits is I *think* $750, can't really remember.

- They have outerwear.

- They have a couple dozen pairs of cotton braces for $55 which are quite nice.

I need to move to Omaha, Wichita Falls, Des Moines, or Bismarck..... away from it all. Just too much temptation here in Manhattan.
